With just over a year to go to the London 2012 Olympics you can expect a plethora of new Olympics books to be on the market soon. It looks like one of the first out is an official countdown to the games: “The Official Countdown to the London 2012 Games (Olympic and Paralympic Games)“.

According to the reviews seen so far, this one has been called a “family book” which will inspire children. If you own it, let us know what you think by leaving a comment below.

We’ve read it and can say that whilst aimed at older children it does have some interest for adults and is has some fantastic facts and stories.
